“This tour is something I intend to share with friends and relatives who live and/or visit New York. Did not know there were so many art galleries in Harlem. This is a wonderful venue… one of Harlem's little known secrets. Keep up the good work!!

Saundra Robinson, New York

Harlem has a culture of its own; ArtCrawl Harlem provided a glimpse of that singular culture. There is power in the work, often coming from young souls who somehow caught on to the nuance of craft early on. The tour was enlightening and empowering.”

Erik Wood, New York

Had an absolutely fabulous time at the tour...consummate professionals...Your attention to detail was superb.”

JW Ford, New York

“Traveled from Philadelphia to enjoy! The entire venue was very interesting tour well planned, galleries and artiste exciting to see. Also enjoyed the smaller group on the trolley allowing for engagement and rapport with other art crawlers.

“This tour gave me a lot to take in. There are so many parts to NY that are hidden in plain sight. This ArtCrawl was a great opportunity to see what has always been there. Would definitely recommend the tour to others.”

“My husband and I really enjoyed the day. We really hadn't ever been in Spanish Harlem(we live in CT) and we were quite pleased to see how talented the artists are there. Plus we liked getting to know the area a little more. We appreciated the diversity of the stops eg. community garden to subway mosaics to high end art gallery. It was nice that there was food provided along the way culminating in the stop at the Puerto Rican art center with the interesting local food. All in all well worth the price.”

“Having never been to the area, my husband and I knew that whatever we did was going to be new ...the neighborhood, the history, the art scene, etc. We very much enjoyed our "crawl" and felt we got even more than expected. Most other "tourists" were pleasant and added to our day. Most of the galleries were interesting and did not feel commercial. The tour leader was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Offering a variety of stops was wonderful…the little park, the graffiti walls, the warm little coffee house, the renovated building, the 3 floor walk up, the art installation media oriented art installation...all of it was great. The reception at the end was another bonus. And yes, we would recommend it and possibly do it again.”
